The HKTDC Hong Kong International Jewellery Show and the HKTDC Hong Kong International Diamond, Gem & Pearl Show together form the world's largest trading hub for the jewellery industry. In 2015, the shows presented over 4,360 exhibitors from 52 countries and regions, and welcomed more than 76,000 visitors from 140 countries and regions.
In 2016, the Hong Kong International Diamond, Gem & Pearl Show takes place from 1-5 March, at AsiaWorld-Expo, showing loose stones, pearls and jewellery raw materials, while the Hong Kong International Jewellery Show for finished jewellery takes place 3-7 March, at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The two shows have three days in common, allowing industry players to cover their markets and their sources thoroughly, aided by the fairs' complimentary shuttle bus service.

Two prestigious jewellery design competitions show the depth of creative talent in the industry.
Designed to stimulate creativity, raise the standard of craftsmanship and spur market demand, the theme of the 17th Hong Kong Jewellery Design Competition is ‘Harmony’, as diligence, the can-do spirit and cultural diversity are the foundations of Hong Kong’s prosperity and dynamism.
The biennial Chuk Kam Jewellery Design Competition, now in its 16th edition, is organised by the Hong Kong Jewellers’ & Goldsmiths’ Association and sponsored by HKTDC and World Gold Council. The overall theme of the 2016 competition is 'Gold 4.0 – Innovate outside of the box' with group themes of 'Renewed Traditions', 'Time and Tides', and 'Future Construction'.
The 3rd edition of HKTDC Hong Kong International Diamond, Gem & Pearl Show is a professional trading platform that focuses on jewellery raw materials, especially loose diamonds, precious stones, semi-precious stones and pearls. It serves as a dedicated space for both exhibitors and buyers to negotiate for these sought-after items.
Hall of Fine Diamonds
Gathers together reputable and knowledgeable diamond dealers who offer carat size diamonds in an enormous variety of sizes, grades
and colour.
Treasures of Nature
Gives buyers, whether designers or manufacturers, a rich choice of coloured gems.
Treasures of Ocean
displays the myriad varieties of pearls, in all of their lustrous shapes and sizes, from the great pearl centres of the world.
The timing of the two fairs allows designers and manufacturers exhibiting in the Hong Kong International Jewellery Show several free days to visit the Hong Kong International Diamond, Gem & Pearl Show. Likewise, exhibitors from AsiaWorld-Expo have ample opportunities to visit the Hong Kong International Jewellery Show. Complimentary shuttle bus service is available between the two venues throughout the fair period, with an average journey time of 45 minutes.
Exquisite jewellery, glittering gems and lustrous pearls are not all the fairs have to offer. Around 30 activities and events take place in the fairgrounds. They include buyer forums, presentations and seminars by leading figures in the jewellery world. Jewellery parades show off exhibitors' offerings in beautiful style.
