Hear What Buyers Say |

We are the third-largest jewellery group in Shanghai operating a network of about 500 retail outlets in the mainland. This is our first-time participation in the Hong Kong show. The journey has been very successful. I am negotiating with five to 10 exhibitors for the supply of K-gold and diamond jewellery including wedding rings and necklaces. The show is professionally run and offers a great chance to gain better undertanding of the latest market trends. I will come again next year."
Li Dong Mei, General Manager, Shanghai First Asia Jewellery Co.,Ltd., Chinese mainland
"Vicenza is a medium-sized jewellery distributor and retailer with nine shops in Chile. Hong Kong is an important sourcing centre for us and I have good confidence in doing business with companies exhibiting at fairs organised by HKTDC. This year, I am looking for something new and light in gold and silver jewellery. I’ve been in touch with four to five new suppliers with about US$100,000 worth of orders placed already."
Manuel Contreras Q., General Manager, Vicenza oro & argento, Chile
"We are the third-biggest jewellery retail chain in France with 45 shops in operation across the country. This is an excellent show. We have found seven new suppliers from Italy, the Chinese mainland, India and Japan for the provision of silver and diamond jewellery, pearls and jewellery packaging products. We source our products from different places of the world including France, Spain, Italy, India and Thailand. Hong Kong is also a great sourcing centre for us."
Julien Bouldoires, Director, BGEMS, France

Hear What Exhibitors Say |

"We are taking advantage of the Hong Kong International Jewellery Show to enhance the image of Tahitian pearls and expand our market presence. At present, our association has 70 to 80 members and there has been a growing number of companies expand into the business of Tahitian pearls in recent years. This is a good place to extend our presence. We are glad to see increased visitor numbers this year and the atmosphere is even better than last year."
Ida Wong, General Manager, Tahitian Pearl Association HK, Hong Kong
"The Hong Kong Pearl Association currently has more than 90 members engaged in all kinds of business related to Chinese freshwater pearls or other pearl categories such as South Sea and Tahitian pearls. The show is an established platform for us to promote the industry’s development. About two thirds of our members participated in this year’s exhibition and the overall sentiment is quite positive."
Connie T. N. Tsang, Administrative Secretary, Hong Kong Pearl Association, Hong Kong
"This is our first-ever exhibition in Hong Kong. We’re amazed with the scale of the exhibition and everything has been well organised. Amber-Ring has been in business for 10 years. Our amber and silver jewellery products, all made in Poland, are selling mainly in Europe. We are here exploring new markets in Asia, particularly Hong Kong and the Chinese mainland. Initial responses are positive. We’ve met many potential customers from different countries and regions including the Chinese mainland."
Stanisław Całka, Owner, Amber-Ring, Poland
