The HKTDC Hong Kong International Jewellery Show and the HKTDC Hong Kong International Diamond, Gem & Pearl Show together form the world's largest trading hub for the jewellery industry. In 2015, the shows presented over 4,360 exhibitors from 52 countries and regions, and welcomed more than 76,000 visitors from 140 countries and regions.
In 2016, the Hong Kong International Diamond, Gem & Pearl Show takes place from 1-5 March, at AsiaWorld-Expo, showing loose stones, pearls and jewellery raw materials, while the Hong Kong International Jewellery Show for finished jewellery takes place 3-7 March, at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The two shows have three days in common, allowing industry players to cover their markets and their sources thoroughly, aided by the fairs' complimentary shuttle bus service. |
